Rucksacker Stock - Barrel Nut Fit – Important Installation Note
Due to minor variations in barrel nut diameters, some barrel nuts may fit more tightly in the stock than others. Every stock is quality checked with a barrel nut before it leaves our shop, but slight variation between individual barrel nuts can result in a tighter fit.
When installing the barrel nut into the stock for the first time, take your time and do not force it straight into the slot.
Instead, slowly work the barrel nut in and out of the slot several times, gradually increasing the depth each time. This allows the surfaces to seat properly and helps prevent the barrel nut from becoming stuck.
Do not apply heat or lubricants or force the barrel nut into the stock. If you encounter significant resistance or the barrel nut becomes stuck, stop and contact us for assistance.
